Have you got a piece of furniture that could have new life breathed into it with a mural design?

Recently, I have had the pleasure of designing bespoke murals for pieces of furniture already owned by customers.  Here are my latest commissions...

My latest commission project was to transform this Beautility sideboard. Beautility is a well-known brand from the mid-century era and it's renowned for its iconic style and excellent build quality.

After preparing the wood, I painted it in a stylish and striking black which created a perfect canvas for this mural. The owners described to me how the herons were often stealing the fish from their pond and even though this was a tad annoying (as you can imagine), Martha and Ian wanted to 'celebrate' the annoyance! I'm assured that the heron will not be getting any more as the fish are too big now, even for the mighty heron!

Another recent commission project was to breathe new life into a very well-built and sturdy pine games table. The colours of the peacock are, of course, extremely vibrant and exciting - perfect for a games table. Again, I painted the mural having created a black canvas. 

This was another extremely enjoyable commission, with an excellent quality and attractive bureau. Glenis saw a peacock design on cyclinder chest of drawers and wondered if I could replicate it on her bureau, which I absolutely could!
